"Voice and new technologies" seminar
Since Ircam’s creation, considerable research has been carried out in the domain of the voice.
The analysis and processing of the spoken and sung voice – solo or choral – has advanced to such an extent that the institute now envisages new horizons and new ambitious creative projects, supported by its collaboration with the Accentus choir. The choir will figure prominently throughout the day. It will be studied from various different angles: research (analysis and synthesis), education and creation. This day also provides the opportunity to contemplate the state of affairs concerning the voice, in terms of both scientific and technical research and contemporary vocal techniques.
