Ircam's education department offers the public the chance to discover and learn about some of the simple manipulations possible with two pieces of Ircam developed music software: Max and AudioSculpt. Also combining demonstrations and manipulations, a second workshop will be dedicated to Musique Lab applications developed at Ircam as part of a collaboration with the French Ministry of Education.

Resonances’ two main themes “musical writing” and “interpretation” will be addressed by composers who, with the help of Ircam performers, musical assistants and researchers, will present the main principles underlying their compositions, both in progress and already completed.
